Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge is developing over central parts of the State with a
trough over the northern Kimberley. A broad trough will then lie over the
inland Kimberley and Pilbara on Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is developing over central parts of the State and pushes south on
Thursday and Friday with a high pressure system to move south of the State. A
weak trough will also develop off the west coast and move inland later Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 8 September
Possible showers over the western parts of the South West Land Division and
coastal Gascoyne later in the day. Showers along the Eucla and eastern South
East Coastal district, contracting east during the day. Possible morning frost
over the Great Southern, far southeast Central Wheat Belt and southwest
Goldfields. Morning fogs possible over the far northwest coast of the Kimberley
and inland South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 9 September
Showers extending over the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, Goldfields and
southwest Gascoyne. Mostly light falls expected. Morning fogs possible over the
northwest coast of the Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 10 September
Showers over southern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division, South
Interior, Eucla, Goldfields and eastern Gascoyne. Morning fog over inland
southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 11 September
Possible showers over far southwest parts of the South West Land Division,
southeast South Interior and the adjacent Eucla. Morning fog over inland
southern parts of the South West Land Division.
