Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extending over the east Kimberley and North Interior is moving east
whilst a high pressure ridge pushes east across central parts of the State
during the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is moving over eastern parts of the State before clearing Western
Australia early Wednesday, while a new ridge develops over central parts of the
State. The ridge will push south on Thursday and Friday with a high pressure
system to move south of the State. A trough will also develop off the west
coast and move inland later Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 7 September
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, southern
Interior, and Eucla district. Mostly light falls expected. Possible morning
frosts over southwest parts of the Central Wheat Belt and far northwest parts
of the Great Southern. Morning fogs possible over the northwest coast of the
Kimberley and inland western parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 8 September
Showers over the western and southern parts of the South West Land Division,
coastal far southwestern Gascoyne, and southern Eucla district. Possible
morning frost over the Great Southern and far southeast Central Wheat Belt.
Morning fogs possible over the northwest coast of the Kimberley and inland
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 9 September
Showers developing over much of the State apart from the Kimberley, North
Interior, and eastern Pilbara. Morning fogs possible over the northwest coast
of the Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 10 September
Showers over the South West Land Division, away from the west coast, Interior,
Eucla, Goldfields and inland Gascoyne. Morning fog over inland southern parts
of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
