Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extending over the Kimberley and North Interior is moving east whilst
a high pressure ridge pushes east across the northern half of the State during
the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is slowly moving east across eastern districts this evening and
Tuesday. The next trough will move over southern parts of the State from later
today before moving east of Western Australia early Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 6 September
Showers over most of the State, apart from the Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and
northern and central Kimberley. Chance of thunderstorms over much of the south
of the state. Possible small hail over the South West and western parts of the
South Coastal districts. Chance of morning fogs in the southwest, becoming more
likely over the far southwest. Morning fogs possible over the northwest coast
of the Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 7 September
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, southern
Interior, and Eucla district. Possible morning frosts over southern parts of
the Central Wheat Belt, and northern parts of the Great Southern. Morning fogs
possible over the northwest coast of the Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 8 September
Showers over the South West Land Division, southwestern Gascoyne, and Eucla
district. Possible morning fogs and frosts over the inland parts of the South
West Land Division and southwestern parts of the Goldfields. Morning fogs
possible over the northwest coast of the Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 9 September
Showers developing over much of the State apart from the Kimberley, North
Interior, and eastern Pilbara. Morning fogs possible over the northwest coast
of the Kimberley.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
