Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends from the Kimberley into the east Pilbara. The trough will
move northwards as a new ridge continues to develop over southern parts of the
State on Monday, bringing a return of fresh and gusty southeasterly winds to
the Pilbara, North Interior and southwest Kimberley.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A new ridge of high pressure is developing over southern parts of the State.
The high pressure ridge will move south of the State by Wednesday with a trough
forming near the west coast later in the week.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 29 August
Light showers about coastal parts between Cape Naturaliste to Israelite Bay,
clearing east of Bremer Bay during the afternoon. Possible morning fog and
frost over inland parts of the Southwest Land Division, southern Goldfields,
far Southern Interior and inland Eucla. Windy over most of the north of the
State.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 August
Light showers south of Busselton to Mount Barker to Bremer Bay. Possible
morning fogs and frosts over inland parts of the Southwest Land Division,
southern Goldfields, far southern Interior and inland Eucla. Showers and
thunderstorms possible over the far southeast Kimberley. Windy over most of the
north of the State.

Forecast for Wednesday 31 August
Light showers south of Busselton to Israelite Bay. Possible morning fogs and
frosts over southern and eastern parts of the Southwest Land Division, and
southern Goldfields. Showers and thunderstorms over the southeast Kimberley and
northeastern Interior, with light showers extending into western parts of the
Interior, northeast Gascoyne and far northern Goldfields. Windy over central
parts of the State.

Forecast for Thursday 1 September
Light coastal showers between Cape Leeuwin and Israelite Bay. Possible morning
fogs over southern districts of the Southwest Land Division and far southern
Goldfields. Showers and thunderstorms over the southeast Kimberley and
northeast Interior. Showers over remaining parts of the Interior and adjacent
Gascoyne and Goldfields, clearing from the west during the day. Windy over
central parts of the State.
