Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge over southern parts of the state directs a drier east to
southeast flow.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will develop rapidly from the west today, extending east
with a high centre moving into Bight waters on Wednesday and Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 22 August
Light showers east of Cape Leeuwin, mostly coastal and clearing eastwards
during the day.

Forecast for Tuesday 23 August
Light morning shower possible about the south coast east of Esperance. Possible
morning frosts over northeastern parts of the South West Land Division,
southern Goldfields, and southern parts of the South Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 24 August
Light morning shower possible about the south coast east of Esperance. Possible
morning fogs and frosts over central eastern parts of the South West Land
Division. Possible morning frosts over parts of the southern Goldfields and
southern parts of the South Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 25 August
Sunny in the north, partly cloudy over southern parts. Possible morning frosts
over parts of the eastern Goldfields and southern parts of the South Interior.
