Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge over southern parts of the state directs a drier east to
southeast flow.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A firm ridge of high pressure extends across southern WA, with a high pressure
system moving east ahead of a weak cold front brushing the south coast later
today. Another high pressure ridge will develop rapidly from the west in the
wake of the cold front Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 21 August
Showers southwest of Harvey to Salmon Gums to Israelite Bay. Possible morning
fogs and frosts over inland parts of the South West Land Division and far
southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Monday 22 August
Light coastal showers east of Esperance clearing during the morning.

Forecast for Tuesday 23 August
Light morning shower possible about the south coast east of Albany. Possible
morning frosts over the southern Goldfields, adjacent parts of Central Wheat
Belt and southern parts of the South Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 24 August
Light morning shower possible about the Eucla coast. Possible morning frosts
over the far southwest Goldfields and southern parts of the South Interior.
