Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure over eastern parts of the State will continue slowly
moving east. A cloud band is expected to develop over the far western Pilbara
on Saturday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is expected to move across the west coast on Saturday followed by
a second front later on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 13 August
Showers developing over the South West Land Division during the morning.
Showers also likely over the western Pilbara and Gascoyne. Chance of a gusty
thunderstorm over the southwestern Gascoyne, Central West, Lower West, and
South West districts. Windy about the Southwest Capes and Lower West coast.
Morning fog over inland Eucla district and far eastern pars of the South East
Coastal district. Morning frost possible over the eastern Goldfields, southern
parts of the South Interior, and inland parts of the Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 14 August
Light showers near the west coast south of Geraldton and along the south coast.
Light showers also possible over the far western Pilbara, central and eastern
Gascoyne, and western Goldfields. Morning fogs over the inland parts of the
South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne and western Goldfields. Morning
frosts possible over eastern parts of the South Interior.

Forecast for Monday 15 August
Showers developing southwest of a line from Exmouth to Laverton to Esperance.
Chance of thunderstorms developing near the west coast. Heavy falls possible
over the western Gascoyne later in the day and evening. Morning fogs over the
South East Coastal, southern parts of the Goldfields, and the Eucla district.

Forecast for Tuesday 16 August
Showers southwest of a line from Onslow to Eucla. Heavy falls possible over the
western Gascoyne and the Central West district.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
