Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge will move over the state during Sunday resulting in a return of
southeasterly winds, apart from the Kimberley. A strong cold front will move
over the west Pilbara coast on Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge will extend east across central parts of the State on Sunday. A series
of strong cold fronts are then forecast to move through from Monday to
Wednesday next week.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 31 July
Showers near the west and south coasts of the South West Land Division, south
of Carnarvon and along the Eucla coast. Possible early showers over the South
Interior. Morning frost possible over the inland South West Land Division,
southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields and western South Interior.

Forecast for Monday 1 August
Becoming very windy over western and southern parts of the State. Showers about
far western parts of the State extending to southwest of Mardie to Warburton
during the day. Chance of squally thunderstorms over the South West Land
Division and southwest Goldfields. Morning frost possible over southern parts
of the South Interior and adjacent Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 August
Very windy over central and southern parts of the State. Showers over most of
the State, apart from the Kimberley. Chance of squally thunderstorms southwest
of a line from Jurien Bay to Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 August
Very windy over central and southern parts of the State. Showers southwest of a
line from Exmouth to Forrest. Light showers also possible over the southwest
Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, North Interior, and northeastern parts of the South
Interior. Chance of squally thunderstorms over western parts of the South West
Land Division.
