Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge will maintain dry, cooler east to southeast winds in the north.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front moves over the South West Land Division this afternoon and evening
and eastern parts of the state on Sunday, with a new ridge developing over
southern parts by early next week.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 9 July
Showers over the South West district extending to areas southwest of a line
Denham to Israelite Bay during the day. Gusty thunderstorms with moderate to
heavy falls southwest of Rockingham to Albany. Chance of morning frost over the
South Interior.
Forecast for Sunday 10 July
Showers over the South West Land Division extending to southwest of Coral Bay
to Forrest during the day. Thunderstorms possible about the far south coast.
Windy in the far south.
Forecast for Monday 11 July
Showers about the South West Land Division coasts south of Jurien Bay and Eucla
coast. Chance of morning fog and frost over the South West Land Division,
southern parts of the Gascoyne and western parts of Goldfields.
Forecast for Tuesday 12 July
Showers southwest of Jurien Bay to Albany. Chance of morning fog and frost over
the South West Land Division, southern parts of the Gascoyne, and Goldfields.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
