Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure over the south of the State will continue to direct
dry east to southeasterly winds across the north, fresh and gusty at times,
until early week.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high pressure system over the Bight extends a firm ridge of high
pressure over the State until early week. A cold front will move through the
South West Land Division on Tuesday. A weak high pressure system will follow in
the wake of the front on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday 3 July
Chance of morning frost over the Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern, South West
district, southern Goldfields, northern Southeast Coastal district and southern
parts of South Interior. Windy and cooler over the north of the State. Chance
of morning fog over the eastern parts of the South East Coastal and Eucla
districts.
Forecast for Monday 4 July
Possible showers about the Southwest Capes later in the evening and also near
the eastern Eucla coast. Chance of morning frost over the Goldfields, Central
Wheat Belt, Great Southern and South Interior. Winds easing over the north of
the State later in the day.
Forecast for Tuesday 5 July
Showers near the Southwest Capes extending to southwest of a line from Denham
to Israelite Bay during the day. Chance of morning frost over the Interior,
Eucla, Goldfields, eastern Gascoyne, eastern Central West and southeast Pilbara.
Forecast for Wednesday 6 July
Chance of light showers over the South West Land Division and Eucla district
coast. Chance of morning frost over the Interior, Eucla, eastern Goldfields,
Great Southern, northeast Gascoyne and southeast Pilbara.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
