Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure over the south of the State will continue to direct
dry east to southeasterly winds, fresh and gusty at times, over the north of
the State until early next week.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high pressure system over the Bight extends a firm ridge of high
pressure over the State through to early next week. A cold front will cross the
southwest on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 1 July
Possible light showers near the coast over the Eucla and eastern parts of the
South East Coastal district. Possible light showers over the far northeast
Kimberley early this morning. Chance of morning frost over the Central Wheat
Belt, Great Southern, eastern South West, southwest Goldfields and northern
South East Coastal districts. Windy over the north of the State.
Forecast for Saturday 2 July
Possible light showers along the south coast east of Israelite Bay. Chance of
morning frost over the Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern, eastern South West
district, southern Goldfields and northern Southeast Coastal district. Windy
over the north of the State.
Forecast for Sunday 3 July
Possible light showers along the south coast east of Israelite Bay. Chance of
morning frost over the Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern, eastern South West
district, southern Goldfields, northern Southeast Coastal district and southern
South Interior. Windy over the north of the State.
Forecast for Monday 4 July
Possible showers about the Southwest Capes later in the evening and also near
the eastern Eucla coast. Chance of morning frost over the southern Central
Wheat Belt, Great Southern, Goldfields and South Interior. Winds easing over
the north of the State.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
