Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A shallow trough will persist across the Kimberley and Interior. Another trough
is developing over western parts of the Pilbara today, as a cloud band thickens
across the northwest of WA. It will move slowly eastwards during Sunday and
Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies south of the State. A significant cold front will reach the south
coast later today before moving east along the Eucla coast on Sunday. A trough
forming across the Gascoyne will move east over the weekend. A new ridge of
high pressure will extend across the central South West Land Division from
later Sunday and into the Southern Interior on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 28 May
Rain, showers and thunderstorms with possible heavy falls over the western
Pilbara. Showers over the eastern Pilbara, Gascoyne, Interior and South West
Land Division. Chance of a light shower over the Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 29 May
Rain, showers and thunderstorms over the Pilbara with possible heavy falls.
Showers over northern Gascoyne, Interior, Eucla, Goldfields and southern parts
of South West Land Division. Light showers over the west coast of the South
West Land Division. Possible small hail near the Southeast Coastal district and
Eucla coasts. Windy over southeastern parts of the State.

Forecast for Monday 30 May
Rain, showers and thunderstorms over the Pilbara and far southwest Kimberley
with possible heavy falls. Showers over northern Gascoyne, Interior, Eucla,
southern Goldfields and southern South West Land Division. Windy about the
south coast and Eucla coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 31 May
Showers over the Pilbara, west and south Kimberley, northern Gascoyne, northern
and southern Goldfields, Interior and southern parts of the South West Land
Division. Possible thunderstorms over the west Kimberley and far northeast
Pilbara.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
