Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the southern Kimberley while another slow moving trough
moves eastwards across the Pilbara with and associated rain band.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A slow moving low pressure system and associated cold front is approaching the
southwest this evening and should sweep across the South West Land Division and
Eucla on Wednesday on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 18 May
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the South West Land Division,
Goldfields, southern and western Gascoyne and Eucla. Rain and thunderstorms
with possible heavy falls over northeast Gascoyne, Pilbara, and Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 19 May
Showers over the South West Land Division and about the Gascoyne coast south of
Shark Bay, with possible thunderstorms over eastern parts of South East Coastal
district. Showers and thunderstorms over southern and eastern Goldfields,
Eucla, Interior, and eastern Pilbara.

Forecast for Friday 20 May
Showers over the South West Land Division, Eucla, and far southern Goldfields.
Showers and thunderstorms over the northeastern Interior, central Pilbara and
northeast Gascoyne.

Forecast for Saturday 21 May
Showers over the Eucla, Southeast Coastal, Goldfields, and northeastern parts
of the Central Wheatbelt. Showers and thunderstorms over the western half of
the Pilbara, Gascoyne, and Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
