Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the southern Kimberley. Another trough will develop over the
Pilbara late on Monday associated with a new cloud band.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak front over the Eucla district will move eastwards to SA this morning. A
ridge of high pressure over the northern South West Land Division will drift
south later today. Another low pressure system and associated cold front will
approach the southwest coast later Monday and sweep across the southwest on
Tuesday and Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 15 May
Showers near coastal parts of the South West Land Division, more frequent about
the south coast. Possible showers over the northeast Pilbara, North Interior
and far northeast South Interior.

Forecast for Monday 16 May
Showers near coastal parts of the South West Land Division south of Fremantle,
more frequent about the Southwest Capes. Showers and possible thunderstorms
over the Pilbara and Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 17 May
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the South West Land Division,
Goldfields, southern Gascoyne and Eucla. Rain and thunderstorms with possible
heavy falls over northern Gascoyne, the Pilbara and Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 18 May
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the South West Land Division,
Goldfields, southern and western Gascoyne and Eucla. Rain and thunderstorms
with possible heavy falls over northeast Gascoyne, the Pilbara and Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
