Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will move over the Pilbara from the Gascoyne through Friday reaching
eastern parts on Saturday. The trough will then extending into the Kimberley on
Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will continue to move over southern parts of the state through
Friday. A ridge of high pressure will follow in the wake of the front on Friday
across the South West Land Division with another weak front brush past the
southwest coast on Saturday. The ridge of high pressure will lie over southern
parts of the State on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 13 May
Showers southwest of a line Pardoo to Giles tending to rain with possible
thunderstorms and heavy falls over the western and central Pilbara and adjacent
Gascoyne. Windy over southern parts of the State with damaging winds possible
about the western south coast.

Forecast for Saturday 14 May
Showers over the far southwest Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior, southern
parts of the Goldfields, Eucla, and South West Land Division. Thunderstorms
possible over far southwest Kimberley and northeast Pilbara.

Forecast for Sunday 15 May
Showers over the South West Land Division, and western Eucla coast. Possible
showers over the northeast Pilbara, North Interior, far northeast South
Interior and far southwest Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 16 May
Showers possible over the western and southern South West Land Division,
Pilbara and north Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
