Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends near the coast from the Kimberley to the Pilbara. It will
push offshore from the Pilbara and southwestern Kimberley coasts for a period
during the mornings from Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front is weakening over far southwestern parts of the State during
the remainder of Monday. A new ridge develops to the south of the State during
Tuesday with a slow moving high pressure system to move east from Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 3 May
Showers over the southern coastal districts. Showers and chance of a
thunderstorm over the east Pilbara and central Interior. Chance of an afternoon
thunderstorm over the Dampier Peninsula.

Forecast for Wednesday 4 May
Showers about the south coast. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the
North Interior, far northeast Pilbara and far southern Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 5 May
Showers about the south coast. Chance of a shower over the North Interior and
eastern Pilbara.

Forecast for Friday 6 May
Showers near the Eucla coast. Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the
far southern Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and North Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
