Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends near the coast from the Kimberley to the Pilbara. It is
expected to push offshore over the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over the southern parts of the State. A weak cold
front brushes the southwest coast on Monday before a new ridge builds over the
southwest of the State on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 30 April
Possible light showers about the southwest coast and the central and western
Pilbara. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 1 May
Possible light showers about the southwest coast. Chance of a shower or
thunderstorm over the northern Kimberley, western Pilbara, and northern
Gascoyne and Interior.

Forecast for Monday 2 May
Showers over southern coastal districts, the Pilbara, western Interior and
northeast Gascoyne.

Forecast for Tuesday 3 May
Showers over the south coast and South East Coastal district. Possible showers
over inland Pilbara and central Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
