Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends near the coast from the Kimberley to the Pilbara. It will
push offshore from the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is developing over southwest parts of the State as a weak cold front
contracts away over eastern coastal parts. The ridge will become established
over southern parts of the State during today.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 29 April
Showers over the southern coastal districts, Interior and Pilbara. Possible
light early morning frost over northwestern parts of the Great Southern.

Forecast for Saturday 30 April
Possible light showers about the southwest coast and the central and western
Pilbara. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 1 May
Possible light showers about the southwest coast. Chance of a shower or
thunderstorm over the northern Kimberley, western Pilbara, and Gascoyne.

Forecast for Monday 2 May
Showers over southern coastal districts, the Pilbara, western Interior and
northeast Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
