Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends from the Kimberley to the Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough over the Interior contracts eastwards today. A ridge of high pressure
is developing southwest of the State and becomes established over remaining
southern parts of the State today. A trough develops off the west coast on
Friday and moves inland on Saturday ahead of a weak cold front which brushes
the southwest coast.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 14 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Showers over the southeastern
parts of the South West Land Division, Eucla and southern parts of the
Goldfields.

Forecast for Friday 15 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Few light showers over the Eucla
and southeastern parts of the Goldfields.

Forecast for Saturday 16 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Showers developing south of
Margaret River to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Sunday 17 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley. Showers southwest
of a line Coral Bay to Eucla, apart from the Lower West district.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
