Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends from the Kimberley to the Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extending from the Gascoyne to the South Interior is moving northeast.
A new ridge of high pressure is extending east along the south coast. A cold
front will approach the southwest coast on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 5 April
Possible showers and drizzle over southeastern parts of the South West Land
Division, eastern parts of Southeast Coastal, southern Goldfields and Eucla
District. Chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over the far northern
Kimberley, northern Gascoyne, southeast Pilbara, far northern Goldfields and
Southern Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 6 April
Chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over the far northern Kimberley and
Pilbara. Possible light showers about the south coast and adjacent inland.

Forecast for Thursday 7 April
Chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over the northern Kimberley, far
northern Gascoyne and western Pilbara. Possible light showers about the
Leeuwin, eastern Esperance and western Eucla coasts.

Forecast for Friday 8 April
Chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over the northern Kimberley and
western Pilbara. Showers and thunderstorms about the Gascoyne coast and the
South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
