Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends from inland Kimberley to the Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure system lies near the Central West coast and is forecast to
weaken and move inland on Sunday. A cold front will also move over southern
parts of the state on Sunday. A new ridge of high pressure will extend east
along the south coast behind the cold front and low pressure system early next
week.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 3 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Pilbara, Gascoyne, western Goldfields and
the South West Land Division. Rain areas in the far southwest. Heavy falls
possible over the Southwest, South Coastal and Great Southern districts. Chance
of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over the coastal parts of the Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 4 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the southern and western Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Eucla District far southwestern parts of the Interior and northern
and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers over remaining parts
of the South West Land Division. Chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over
the far northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 5 April
Possible showers over eastern parts of the South West Land Division, Southeast
Coastal, eastern parts of South Coastal, southern and eastern Goldfields and
Eucla. Chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over the far northern
Kimberley, northern Gascoyne, far northern Goldfields and Southern Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 6 April
Possible showers about the northern Gascoyne, adjacent Interior, south coast
and adjacent inland. Chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over the far
northern Kimberley and Pilbara.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
