Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends to the Pilbara from a low pressure system in the Indian Ocean.
The low pressure system will move close to the far west Pilbara coast today
before slipping south on Friday. Another weak trough extends from inland
Kimberley to the the North Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies through the central west coast and extends into the Gascoyne. A
low pressure system moves southwards close to the far west Pilbara coast today
and then to the Gascoyne coast on Friday. A ridge lies along the southern
coastline as a strong high pressure system builds south of the Great Australian
Bight.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 31 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over western Pilbara, Gascoyne, and northern
and central parts of the South West Land Division, more frequent and possibly
severe over the western parts of the Pilbara, northern parts of central West
and western Gascoyne. Showers about the south coast, far southwest Goldfields
and southern parts of the South West Land Division. Chance of a shower or gusty
thunderstorm over the far west Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 1 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over western Pilbara, Gascoyne and northern
parts of the South West Land Division, more frequent and possibly severe over
southwest parts of the Pilbara and northwest Gascoyne. Showers about the south
coast, Goldfields and southern and central parts of the South West Land
Division. Chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over the far west Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 2 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over western Pilbara, western Gascoyne and
Central West. Showers over the southern and central parts of the South West
Land Division, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields and far western parts of the South
Interior. Chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over the far west Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 3 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over southwest Pilbara, western Gascoyne,
northern and central parts of the South West Land Division. Showers over the
southern parts of the South West Land Division, Goldfields and western Eucla
District. Chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over the far northern
Kimberley.
