Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will remain slow moving across inland parts of the Pilbara and the
North Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure system (remnants of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Charlotte) will remain
over open waters in the vicinity of the northern west coast into this week,
dragging tropical moisture southwards into western parts of the state and the
South West Land Division. A ridge of high pressure will build along the
southern coastline with a strong high pressure system moving into Bight waters
Tuesday and Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 28 March
Partly cloudy over the Eucla District. Showers and gusty thunderstorms over
remaining parts of the state, more frequent and possibly severe over northern
parts of the South West Land Division, Gascoyne and inland southwest Pilbara.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over most of the state, more frequent over
northern parts of the South West Land Division, Gascoyne and the Goldfields
with possible heavy falls.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 March
Mostly sunny over the eastern Kimberley and eastern parts of the North
Interior. Showers and gusty thunderstorms over remaining parts of the state.

Forecast for Thursday 31 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the southwest Kimberley, Pilbara,
Gascoyne, western Goldfields and South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
