Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will remain slow moving across inland parts of the Pilbara and the
North Interior.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure system (remnants of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Charlotte) will remain
over open waters in the vicinity of the west coast into next week, dragging
tropical moisture southwards into the South West Land Division. A ridge of high
pressure will build along the southern coastline as a trough moves away to the
east today.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday 27 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over most places, more frequent and possibly
severe with damaging wind gusts and heavy falls across the northern parts of
the South West Land Division, Gascoyne and western parts of the Goldfields.
Forecast for Monday 28 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms to the north and west of Eucla District, more
frequent across the South West Land Division and Gascoyne with possible heavy
falls.
Forecast for Tuesday 29 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over most places, more frequent across the
South West Land Division, Gascoyne and the Goldfields with possible heavy falls.
Forecast for Wednesday 30 March
Mostly sunny over eastern Kimberley and eastern parts of the North Interior.
Showers and gusty thunderstorms elsewhere, more frequent across the South West
Land Division and the Gascoyne.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
