Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the Kimberley to the Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of the State and will weaken on the
weekend. A trough persists near the west coast and will deepen on Friday before
moving inland on Saturday. A new ridge will follow in the wake of the trough.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 10 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the western Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne.
Chance of a shower over Central West.

Forecast for Friday 11 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
northwest Goldfields, far western parts of the South Interior and the South
West Land Division.

Forecast for Saturday 12 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
Goldfields, western parts of the South Interior and over the central and
southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 13 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, eastern
Goldfields, Interior, Southeast Coastal and Eucla. Few showers about the
southwest of the State.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
