Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends across the Kimberley towards the Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extending from the Gascoyne into the South West Land Division will
move closer to the west coast on Thursday and deepen, before moving inland
again on Friday and on Saturday. A series of high-pressure systems will
maintain a firm ridge near the south coast this week.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 23 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Chance of a thunderstorm
over western Pilbara. Few showers about the southern parts of the South West,
South Coastal and western Southeast Coastal Districts.

Forecast for Thursday 24 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Possible thunderstorms
about southern districts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 25 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northwest Pilbara and
adjacent northwest North Interior. Possible thunderstorms about southern
districts of the South West Land Division and adjacent southern Goldfields.

Forecast for Saturday 26 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northwest Pilbara and
adjacent northwest North Interior. Possible thunderstorms about southern and
eastern parts of the South West Land Division and adjacent southern Goldfields.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
