Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends across the Kimberley towards the Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough near the west coast will move inland over the South West Land Division
on today as a front brushes past the southwest coast. The trough is expected to
remain slow-moving for the rest of the week and will deepen from Thursday. A
series of high-pressure systems will maintain a firm ridge along the south
coast this week.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 22 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Chance of a light shower
about the southwest coast between Margaret River and Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Wednesday 23 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley and adjacent North Interior.
Showers about the far eastern parts of South West, South Coastal and western
parts of Southeast Coastal Districts.

Forecast for Thursday 24 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Showers about the far
eastern parts of South West, South Coastal, far southern parts of the Great
Southern and Southeast Coastal.

Forecast for Friday 25 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northwest Pilbara.
Showers about the far eastern parts of South West, South Coastal and Southeast
Coastal Districts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
