Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends across the Kimberley towards the Pilbara coast.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is located near the west coast with a high pressure system
strengthening south of the state. The trough moves inland on Saturday as
another high pressure system and ridge extend from the west south of the state.
Another trough develops near the west coast next week.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 18 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, adjacent North Interior,
Pilbara and northwest Gascoyne.
Forecast for Saturday 19 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, north and western Pilbara
and adjacent northwest Gascoyne.
Forecast for Sunday 20 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley and north and western
Pilbara. Light showers over South Coastal and Southeast Coastal Districts.
Forecast for Monday 21 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
