Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends across the Kimberley towards the Pilbara coast.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extends along the west coast and is expected to remain slow moving
this week. A ridge of high pressure is building along the south coast and is
expected to strengthen a little later in the week.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 16 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Pilbara, far north
Gascoyne and far northern parts of South Interior.
Forecast for Thursday 17 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior, Pilbara and
northern Gascoyne.
Forecast for Friday 18 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, adjacent North Interior, Pilbara
and northwest Gascoyne.
Forecast for Saturday 19 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, western Pilbara and adjacent
northwest Gascoyne.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
