Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over the Pilbara extends into the Gascoyne, while another trough
extends across the Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies over eastern parts of the South West Land Division and continues
to move east, reaching the Interior and Eucla later on Saturday. A weak cold
front brushes the southwest corner of the State on Saturday before a new ridge
develops in its wake. Another trough develops near the west coast from Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 12 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, western parts
of the Interior, Goldfields, Central West, Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern,
Southeast Coastal and western parts of Eucla. Showers about the Southwest and
South Coastal Districts. Severe thunderstorms possible through the far eastern
Central Wheat Belt and Great Southern, southern Goldfields and Southeast
Coastal Districts. Thunderstorms will be gusty through the Kimberley this
afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Sunday 13 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, western parts
of the Interior, Goldfields, Central West and northern parts of the Central
Wheat Belt. Morning showers over Eucla. Isolated heavy falls possible over the
southern Pilbara and the Gascoyne. Thunderstorms will be gusty through the
Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 14 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, adjacent Interior, Pilbara,
Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, northern Eucla, Central West, Central Wheat Belt
and northern and central parts of the Lower West.

Forecast for Tuesday 15 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior, Pilbara, western
Gascoyne and northern Central West district.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
