Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A slow moving trough extends from the Pilbara to the Interior, while another
weak trough located over the Kimberley is expected to move slowly offshore.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure extending along the south coast will move east on
Thursday. A deepening trough will extend from the Gascoyne to the south coast
on Thursday and will start to move east later on Friday, reaching the Interior
and Eucla on Saturday. A new ridge of high pressure will move over the
southwest coast from the Indian Ocean on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 10 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, eastern parts
of Central West, North Interior, northern Goldfields, northern parts of South
Interior and Central Wheat Belt. Isolated heavy falls possible over the
Pilbara, western parts of the Interior and the Gascoyne.

Forecast for Friday 11 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, North
Interior, western parts of South Interior, western parts of the Goldfields,
Central West, eastern parts of Lower West, Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern,
eastern parts of South Coastal and Southeast Coastal. Heavy falls possible
through the southern Gascoyne, Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern, eastern
parts of South Coastal and Southeast Coastal Districts.

Forecast for Saturday 12 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, western parts
of the Interior, Goldfields, Central West, Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern,
Southeast Coastal and western parts of Eucla. Showers about the Southwest and
South Coastal Districts. Heavy falls possible through the Central Wheat Belt,
Great Southern, southern Goldfields and Southeast Coastal Districts.
Thunderstorms will be gusty through the Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 13 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, western parts
of the Interior, Goldfields, Central West and Eucla. Showers over the Southeast
Coastal District.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
