Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the Pilbara to the Kimberley. A monsoon trough is
drifting over the north Kimberley with a Tropical Low located off the northwest
Kimberley coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure trough will linger near the west coast before moving inland late
on Sunday. A new ridge will begin to develop off the southwest of the State on
Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 23 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Pilbara, North Interior
and far northeastern parts of the South Interior. Slight chance of a shower
over the eastern Eucla coast during the day and between Windy Harbour and
Hopetoun in the evening.

Forecast for Monday 24 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Pilbara and North
Interior. Showers over the far south of the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 25 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and North Interior.
Showers over the far south of the State.

Forecast for Wednesday 26 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior and
northeastern parts of the South Interior. Possible showers near the south coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
