Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extending from the Pilbara to the North Interior will remain
near stationary until Wednesday, before moving northeast later in the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough and associated low pressure system along the west coast will remain
near-stationary until Wednesday, before slowly moving east. A ridge will build
along the south coast and persist until at least Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 10 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, North Interior, and northern and eastern South Interior. Chance of a
light shower between Esperance and Israelite Bay. Areas of raised dust possible
over the southern parts of South Interior early in the morning.

Forecast for Tuesday 11 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne
and adjacent Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 12 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, adjacent North Interior, Pilbara
and northeast Gascoyne.

Forecast for Thursday 13 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, adjacent North Interior, Pilbara
and far northeast Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
