Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extending from the Pilbara to the North Interior will be slow
moving this week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies south of the State with a trough developing from
the inland Gascoyne south along the west coast over the next few days.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 3 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Goldfields, east
Central Wheat Belt, Gascoyne and Pilbara east.

Forecast for Tuesday 4 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Goldfields, far
northeast Central Wheat Belt, Gascoyne and Pilbara.

Forecast for Wednesday 5 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne and Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 6 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne and North
Interior.

Forecast for Friday 7 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, northwest
Goldfields and North Interior. Chance of a light shower on the southwest coast.
