Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends over the Kimberley and inland Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies well south of the State with a deep trough offshore from the west
coast. Hot to very hot daytime temperatures away from the south coast will
continue until the trough moves inland during Wednesday and Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 28 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley. Possible shower or
thunderstorm near the Pilbara coast. Very hot over southern parts away from the
south coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far eastern inland Pilbara and
over the Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 30 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far east inland Pilbara and
Interior.

Forecast for Friday 31 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, northern Goldfields and
Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
