Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A heat trough over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara remains near stationary
over the weekend and into early next week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough located over the Goldfields and Southeast Coastal district will move
eastwards across the Eucla and South Interior on Saturday. A weak cold front
will brush the south coast on Saturday. A new ridge develops south of the State
during the weekend in the wake of the cold front.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 11 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, and Interior.
Possible light showers near mainly coastal parts between Perth and Albany.

Forecast for Sunday 12 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara and
Interior. Light showers possible along the south coast west of Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Monday 13 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 14 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior, extending into the
northern half of the Goldfields. Possible light showers over coastal parts
between Augusta and Bremer Bay.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
