Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A heat trough over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara remains near stationary
over the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge lies south of the State with a trough deepening near the
west coast. The trough will continue to deepen during Wednesday. then move
inland on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 7 December
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, North Interior, central
and east Pilbara, east Gascoyne, far northwestern Goldfields and northern parts
of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 December
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, North Interior, eastern Gascoyne, northern and western Goldfields and
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 9 December
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, North Interior and adjacent parts of the Gascoyne and South Interior.

Forecast for Friday 10 December
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, North and South Interior, north and east Goldfields and adjacent parts
of the Gascoyne and Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
