Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A heat trough over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara remains near stationary
over the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will dominate over the south coast this morning following
a weak cold front slipping past the south, before a trough begins to deepen
down the west coast from today, eventually moving inland on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 6 December
Light showers along the western south coast, extending east during the day.
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, eastern North Interior,
eastern Gascoyne, western Goldfields, and northwestern parts of the Central
Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Tuesday 7 December
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, far eastern North
Interior, adjacent South Interior, inland Gascoyne and northern parts of the
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 December
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, North
Interior, inland Gascoyne, western Goldfields and South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 9 December
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, Eastern Pilbara, and
North Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
