Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A heat trough over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara remains near stationary
over the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system is moving south of the State with a broad trough near
the west coast, before a weak cold front brushes the western south coast late
tonight and Monday morning. The cold front will continue to move east during
Monday as another high pressure systems develops from the west. The trough will
continue to deepen down the west coast early next week.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 5 December
Possible showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara,
Interior and Eucla. Possible evening showers over southern parts of the
Southwest and South Coastal districts.

Forecast for Monday 6 December
Light showers along the western south coast, extending east during the day.
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley and eastern North
Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 7 December
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, far eastern North
Interior, adjacent South Interior, inland Gascoyne and northern parts of the
Central West district.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 December
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, North Interior, inland
Gascoyne and northern parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
