Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara remains stationary over the next
few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge extends along the south coast with a broad trough over
central parts of the State. The ridge of high pressure is expected to deepen
from today as a high moves south of the state over the weekend, while the
trough begins to develop down the west coast. A weak cold front is expected to
brush past the western south coast on Monday. The trough will continue to
deepen down the west coast early next week.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 3 December
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Eucla, Goldfields, southeast
Gascoyne, Interior and adjacent South East Coastal District. Isolated showers
and thunderstorms possible over the far north and west Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 4 December
Showers possible over the northern Goldfields, South Interior and adjacent
Eucla. Possible shower or thunderstorm over the far northeast of the Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 5 December
Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the South Interior and adjacent Eucla
contracting east, and extending to the eastern North Interior during the day.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms possible over the north and east Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 6 December
Light showers along the western south coast. Showers and thunderstorms possible
over the Kimberley, eastern North Interior and adjacent South Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
