Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara and remains stationary over
the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will become established along the south coast Thursday
and Friday with a broad trough over central parts of the State. The high will
move south of the state over the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 2 December
Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the Eucla and adjacent Southern
Interior, clearing from the north in the afternoon. Light showers about the
coast and adjacent inland parts between Cape Leeuwin and Eyre, clearing west of
Esperance in the evening. Isolated showers and thunderstorms possible over the
northwest Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 3 December
Light showers along the Eucla coast. Showers and thunderstorms possible over
the north of the Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 4 December
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern Goldfields, Interior and
eastern Gascoyne. Showers and thunderstorms possible over the north of the
Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 5 December
Showers and thunderstorms clearing from the far northeast Goldfields and over
the Interior. Showers and thunderstorms possible over the north and east
Kimberley.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
