Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the southeast Pilbara into the northeastern Gascoyne on
Tuesday, while a ridge will remain over the west Pilbara for the next few days.
A trough also lies over the eastern Kimberley.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep trough over the eastern Goldfields and western Eucla will move east into
the Interior on Tuesday. A deep low is moving well south of the state as a
ridge develops over southwestern parts of the State. Another cold front brushes
the western south coast of the South West Land Division during Tuesday with the
ridge becoming established over southern parts of the state later in the day. A
broad trough develops over central parts of the State on Wednesday and deepens
on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 2 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley, far eastern
Pilbara, Interior and eastern Eucla. Possible severe thunderstorms over the far
eastern interior, near NT border. Light showers over western and southern parts
of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and over the central and northeast
Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 4 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior, extending to the
Goldfields, Eucla and eastern South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 5 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Eucla, eastern
Goldfields and eastern South West Land Division. Showers over remaining
southern parts of the South West Land Division, southern Pilbara and northern
Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
