Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Kimberley through to the western inland
Pilbara. The trough will move southeast into the eastern Gascoyne during today
as a ridge develops over the western Pilbara. The ridge will remain over the
west Pilbara for the next few days.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough developing near the west coast. The trough will deepen and move east
into the Goldfields today. A weak cold front is expected cross over the
southwest of the State during today as a low well south moves east. A new ridge
will then extend across the west coast from later today and will strengthen
across the southern part of the State on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 1 November
Showers over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division, with
mostly light falls anticipated. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley,
east Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne, Goldfields and eastern parts of the South
West Land Division.
Forecast for Tuesday 2 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the east Kimberley, Interior and eastern Eucla.
Possible severe thunderstorms over the far eastern interior, near NT border.
Light showers near the south coast between Cape Leeuwin and Albany in the
afternoon and evening.
Forecast for Wednesday 3 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and over the central and northeast
Interior.
Forecast for Thursday 4 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior, extending to the
Goldfields and eastern South West Land Division.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
