Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies from inland Kimberley through to the north Pilbara coast. The
trough will contract into the inland Pilbara during Friday afternoon and
evening as a ridge extends into western parts of the Pilbara. A cloud band is
likely to extend across coastal parts around Eighty Mile Beach during Friday
night and Saturday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high is expected to move into the Bight during Friday night and Saturday,
strengthening a ridge over southern parts of the state. A new trough will
deepen into the western Gascoyne on Saturday, then will extend inland from
lower west coast on Sunday. The trough will then move into the Goldfields on
Monday as a cold front reaches the southwest part of the State.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 29 October
Remaining unseasonably cool across the southern part of the State. Slight
chance of showers over the south coastal districts, and over the Interior.
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the north and east Kimberley, mainly in
the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Saturday 30 October
Chance of showers and thunderstorms across the far Eastern Pilbara, Kimberley
and Interior. Temperatures tending warmer through the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 31 October
Warmer again through the Gascoyne, Goldfields, Wheat Belt, eastern Great
Southern, and South East Coastal District. Possible showers and thunderstorms
in the east Pilbara, Kimberley, and Interior. Possible late showers across the
South West coast.

Forecast for Monday 1 November
Possible showers over the South West Land Division, most likely through the
southwest corner. Showers and thunderstorms possible across the western half of
the state including the east Pilbara, Kimberley and Interior, down to the
Goldfields, Eucla and South East Coastal Districts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
