Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from inland parts of the Kimberley onto the Pilbara coast,
contracting inland from the Pilbara coast on Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure system situated on the Eucla coast continues to move eastwards
into South Australia during Thursday. A ridge strengthens over the southern
parts of the State, with a high moving into the Bight on Friday. A new trough
deepens near the west coast on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 28 October
Showers over far southern parts of the South West Land Division and Eucla
coast, with thunderstorms possible in the early morning over eastern parts of
the South East Coastal district. Showers and thunderstorms over the north and
east Kimberley, mostly afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Friday 29 October
Showers over far southern parts of the South West Land Division and Eucla
coast. Showers and thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior. Chance of showers
over the far eastern Pilbara.

Forecast for Sunday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior. Chance of showers
over the far eastern Pilbara. The chance of showers developing later over far
southwestern parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
