Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the central Pilbara to the Eucla and will move east
during the next couple of days as a ridge develops over the western Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure system is crossing the west coast south of Perth during this
morning and will then move southeast to cross the south coast near Cape Arid
and move into the Bight by early Thursday morning. A high pressure ridge will
then develop over southwestern parts of the State during the remainder of
Thursday and further along the south coast on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 27 October
Showers extending from the west over the southern Gascoyne, through most of the
South West Land Division to the southern Goldfields by mid afternoon. Cool with
the chance of a thunderstorm over mainly western and southern parts. Possible
small hail near the western south coast. Hot and windy over the northern South
Interior. Mostly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms over the
northern and eastern Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 28 October
Cool with showers over far southern parts of the South West Land Division, with
showers and thunderstorms possible in the early morning over the South East
Coastal district. Showers and thunderstorms over north and east Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 29 October
Chance of light showers along the south coast and Eucla coast. Showers and
thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northern parts of the Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
