Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge will strengthen over the southern half of State through to Friday as a
trough currently over the Kimberley deepens along the Pilbara coast and moves
offshore on Saturday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure strengthens over central and southern districts and
continues to slowly move southwards during the remainder of the week. A new
high develops south of the Bight over the weekend as a new trough deepens near
the west coast on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 21 October
Showers over the South West Land Division, mostly light and easing during the
afternoon. Chance of thunderstorms in the northeast Kimberley. Very hot weather
continuing across much of the Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 22 October
Showers over southern coastal parts. Very hot across the Kimberley with the
chance of showers and thunderstorms over the northeast part of the region.

Forecast for Saturday 23 October
Possible showers and thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley with hot
temperatures continuing through central and western parts.

Forecast for Sunday 24 October
Possible showers and thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley with hot
temperatures continuing through central parts.
