Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the inland Kimberley through the Pilbara and will
deepen further on Tuesday and Wednesday as it moves east through the central
Pilbara to the North Interior. A ridge will develop near the south coast during
Wednesday before contracting east on Thursday as another broad trough extends
from the Kimberley to the inland Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extends through the interior and is contracting east ahead of a cold
front crossing the southwest of the state during Tuesday morning. A ridge will
then develop near the south coast during Wednesday before another trough
extends inland from the west coast by Thursday morning. This trough will
contract east on Thursday ahead of a weak front that brushes the western south
coast Thursday evening. A new ridge will develop near the south coast on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 5 October
Showers over the South West Land Division with mainly light falls over inland
areas. A chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the southeast Goldfields and
Eucla, most likely during the morning.

Forecast for Wednesday 6 October
Showers about the south coast and the southern and eastern Eucla. A chance of
morning frost through inland parts of the South West Land Division and the
southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Thursday 7 October
Showers developing over areas southwest of Mandurah to Bremer Bay during the
afternoon and evening. A chance of morning frost through inland parts of the
South West Land Division and the southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Friday 8 October
Showers over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division
clearing during the day. A chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm over
the northeast Kimberley.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
