Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the inland Kimberley through the Pilbara to the
eastern Gascoyne and south through the Goldfields. The trough will deepen
further during Thursday before moving east on Friday ahead of a cold front
nearing the west coast of WA.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough over the Goldfields and eastern parts of the South West Land Division
will deepen and move east during Thursday and Friday. A cold front will move
across western parts of the State during Friday. A second weaker cold front
will cross the South West Capes late on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 30 September
Showers southwest of a line from Geraldton to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Friday 1 October
Showers about the South West Capes extending to areas southwest of a line from
Coral Bay to Eyre during the day. Chance of gusty thunderstorms southwest of
Lancelin to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Saturday 2 October
Showers and gusty thunderstorms through the Goldfields and eastern South West
Land Division, contracting to the Eucla during the day and easing later in the
day. Showers over remaining near southern coastal parts and near the west coast
south of Lancelin, increasing about the SW Capes and adjacent parts in the
evening.

Forecast for Sunday 3 October
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Israelite Bay, mostly in the early
morning. Light falls away from the south coast, moderate falls near the south
coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
