Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad extends from the inland Kimberley to the Pilbara coast. The trough will
begin to move through the Pilbara during today and will deepen further on
Thursday. On Friday the deep trough will move through the North Interior ahead
of a cold front nearing the west coast of WA during the afternoon.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low lies over the eastern Bight with a second low pressure system to the west
of the State. The second low will move well south of the State during today as
a cold front moves across the southwest of the state A trough over the
Goldfields and eastern parts of the South West Land Division will deepen and
move east during Thursday and Friday. with a stronger cold front that crosses
western parts of the State during the Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 29 September
Showers extending from the west through South West Land Division, adjacent
southwest Goldfields and along the Eucla coast. Chance of thunderstorms over
southwestern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 30 September
Showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Friday 1 October
Showers about the South West Capes extending to areas southwest of a line from
Coral Bay to Eyre during the day. Chance of gusty thunderstorms southwest of
Lancelin to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Saturday 2 October
Showers and gusty thunderstorms through the Goldfields and eastern South West
Land Division, contracting to the Eucla during the day and easing later in the
day. Showers over remaining near southern coastal parts and near the west coast
south of Lancelin.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
